The Rosary and Adoration

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Perpetual Adoration at St. Albert's is from 6:00 PM Sunday to 8:00 AM Saturday. Please call LaVerne Beaudry at 763.497.2752 for additional information.

"Christ is truly present - body, blood, soul, and divinity - in the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle of every Catholic Church. It is easy to pray in Christ's presence. A Holy Hour is enormously beneficial."

John Paul II's encyclical, Ecclesia de Eucharistia reads "The worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass is of inestimable value for the life of the Church" and is "an inexhaustible source of holiness."

Our Lord calls us to adore His Real Presence in the Eucharist. Spending time with the Blessed Sacrament, we join the line of people that stretches through the centuries, from the stable in Bethlehem in the company of the angels, shepherds, and Magi through all of history to this day. This mystical union of ages and adoring souls has sustained the very heart of the Church. Perpetual Adoration is the giving of your time to the Lord; it lasts for as long as your love for Jesus lasts.

All the faithful are welcomed to "stay an hour" in prayer with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Rosary
"Dear brothers and sisters! A prayer so easy and yet so rich, truly deserves to be rediscovered by the Christian Community. Let us do so, especially this year...May this appeal of mine not go unheard!" - Pope John Paul II

St. Albert's has had a longstanding tradition of praying the rosary before daily mass. For many years Mrs. Mildred Martin lead those in attendance. In 2002 Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pentz began leading the people and in November of 2002 started to include the Luminous Mysteries along with the Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries.

We also have a tradition of May Crowning which the Christian Mothers and Women group arranges. It takes place the 1st of May and the First Communicants and elementary CCD students participate as the congregation makes a living rosary around the interior of the church.

Anyone is welcome to join us as we continue this tradition of saying the rosary 20 minutes before each 8:00 AM Mass.
